888 Holdings Appoints Anna Barsby as First Chief Product and Technology Officer

888 Holdings has designated Anna Barsby as its inaugural Chief Product and Technology Officer. This position, newly established within 888, follows the recent culmination of their significant amalgamation with William Hill this past July. Anna’s responsibility is to supervise the technological fusion of the two entities.

888 underscored the criticality of this endeavor for their future triumphs, particularly in cultivating a superior customer journey and realizing the anticipated synergies post-merger.

They characterized Anna as a “digital metamorphosis authority,” emphasizing her commendable history at organizations like Morrisons and Halfords. At Halfords, she functioned as CIO and spearheaded a digital overhaul that yielded substantial market share expansion and the successful assimilation of novel services and brands.

Presently, Anna also holds roles as a non-executive director for the Cumberland Building Society and as founder and managing partner of Tessiant, a management consultancy firm.

“We are elated to welcome Anna to our executive leadership team,” remarked Itai Pazner, CEO of 888 Holdings. “Her proficiency will be indispensable as we navigate the intricate technological integration of our two enterprises, a pivotal element of our transformative amalgamation with William Hill.”

Her extensive knowledge of the sector and established history of success will be essential as we strive to maximize the capabilities of these two synergistic enterprises. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”

888, a digital wagering and gaming firm, announced that its earnings for the third quarter of 2022 decreased by 7% compared to the previous year, reaching £449 million ($509.4 million).
