The Canberra Gaming Establishment has recovered and no longer requires financial assistance from the government.
Due to a robust conclusion to the year 2020, Aquis Entertainment declared that the Canberra Gaming Establishment is no longer qualified for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) government’s COVID-19 JobKeeper initiative.
Despite meeting the requirements for the program’s second phase, spanning from September 28th, 2020, to January 3rd, 2021, the establishment’s recent triumphs have enabled it to rebound to pre-pandemic performance levels. Consequently, it no longer necessitates government aid to avert employee layoffs.
The proprietor proudly proclaimed that the entirety of the staff has resumed full-time employment as of December 2020.
Although the gaming establishment is no longer a recipient of financial assistance, it persists in operating under its COVID-Safe protocol, adhering to all ACT government directives. This encompasses upholding a one-person-per-four-square-meter regulation, restricting the venue to a maximum capacity of 505 patrons.
